For nearly 20 years Linda have studied different indigo dyeing methods in India, Vietnam and Japan. Most recently she attended a natural dyeing workshop for the master dyer Michel Garcia at Konstfack. In November 2019 she was invited as "Artist in Residence" in Ajrakhpur, Kutch in India. Where she explored and documented the tradition of using natural pigments in combination with block printing. As well as dyeing with indigo and other pigments. Resist dyeing techniques that are used since generations among the Khatri's. In 2018 Linda took an indigo master class for Aboubakar Fofana in Athens. Linda holds workshops and lectures for both students and professionals in indigo dyeing as well as pattern making with different shibori and printing techniques. Shibori is a Japanese word for folding, stitching, weeping, compressing, pleating and in different ways to resist the surface from getting dyed.
