Hide and seek is a body of work which explores the meeting between colour and the regular geometric shapes and texture in the textile material. And how the textile object interacts with the room and in the eyes of the beholder. The color scale is the nature's own. Linda has piece dyed each piece of fabric with pigments from local plants to create vivid shades that changes and is enhanced with the shifts of light and shapes.
Part I is a gradient with 18 shades of indigo. Piece dyed silk fabrics. The object floats in the air and it is affected by the human movements in the room. Each part is partly hidden and when the object moves the gradient changes.
Part I is currently exhibited at "Textile Salon" at Capellagården. From September 11th to 27th. Finissage 27th for all participants.
